Hell Yeah! New Diverse Emoji Coming Soon

Great news, Emoji just got better! Today Apple delivered a new beta of OS X to developers that comes with more emoji in all shades and sizes.

A tipster sent theNextweb some screenshots of the new emoji palette found in OS X 10.10.3. Though the emoji default is still the white version, you can now click and hold on any emoji to change the skin tone. The same emoji are appearing in iOS 8.3 beta 2 as well.

Another much needed improvement, you can now represent any family type:

Other additions include new flags and of course, because nothing comes without some sort of product plug, the watch emoji is now an Apple Watch and the phone looks like an iPhone 6.

There’s no release date for iOS 8.3 or OS X 10.10.3 yet, but Apple is reportedly planning a public beta program which will kick off in mid-March.
